ST Raid Management

Raid Leaders with Management Privileges

Currently, the following officers have the necessary privileges to create or change scheduled raids for signups:

  • Stonemantle
  • Jakshaarin
  • Abbs
  • Gwaendar / Caythlin

How to create a new raid:

  1. Click on Raids on the left hand menu
  2. Click the New Raid button top left main window
  3. Complete all fields - a description is mandatory
  4. If you want, you can change the class lineup as well as the required level range.

Notes

On that respect, please note that the level range strictly limits signups to characters within the boundaries. So for instance if you arrange a special newbie experience tour to the ZG snake and want the newbies to sign up (OK, that might actually not be the best way to go about it), you will have to change the default minimum level.

The # of players per class are over-provisionned in the default settings. Talk to the Guild Master and the Webmaster to change the default values. Once the limit amount of signups for a class is reached, the subsequent people signing up will remain in the queue. A Raid Leader will have to allow them into the raid proper.

Also note that the topmost drop-down, Stored Location, controls the whole rest of the form. So if you enter stuff and realize you selected AQ40 instead of AQ20, tough luck, you'll have to start over.

Freeze limit (in hours) is the amount of time, deducted from invite time, at which sign-ups will close (allowing you to copy the list of players). There is supposed to be an automation with a WoW UI allowing to import the list, but it's been broken by patch 1.9 and the maintainer has vanished.

Managing signups:

From the Main Window or the Raid window, clicking the raid's name will bring you into the signup list. First, check the statistics on the top right side for queued and cancelled signups. If you scroll down to the bottom, you will see the players in those two groups. Clicking on the up arrow boosts them into the raid, works for both queued and cancelled signups. Note that a player who cancelled will not be able to sign up again for the same raid no matter what. You will have to do it for him instead. Oh, and avoid using the "delete" buttons. They appear broken, but it could have unforseen results in your browser.
