Members and Users
Users
On the DKP site, what we refer to as users are accounts created by the player. They currently have no direct bearing on the site or your DKP count (unless there's something funky when you try to access the bare interface), and the only required users are the people in charge of the site's administration.
In other words, creating an user is entirely facultative, unless you're a raid management officer.
Members
People new to the DKP subsite will often ask "I registered, how come I'm not listed on the DKP lists?". On the DKP site, a Member is a raid participant (filtered out by our guild in case of raids complemented by PUGs), and independent of an individual user. So how do you get a member up and start earning DKP? This is quite simple: join one of our raids on one of the official raid nights. That's it, really. After the raid ends, the lootmaster will upload the raid's data to the site, and if your member record does not exist, it will get created automatically, then add what you earned and spent on the raid.
Using the site
Current DKP status
On the top navigation links, click standings. Browse, or click on one of the top yellow labels to change the sorting order. Select several members to compare them (button at the middle bottom of the screen). Click on an individual member to check their raid history and loot.
- Help! I know I have a member on the site, but it disappeared, with my loot history and my DKP!
No worries. For whatever reason, the system currently believes you are inactive. Scroll down the normal list of users, at the bottom right of the list, there's a yellow link called "Show All". If your name ain't on the member list now (in italics), that means you actually never raided with us so far.
Item Values
On the top navigation links, clicking item values will show you what drops went for how many DKP.
Item History
Want to get a feeling for drop rates or just curious what the guild got so far? Click Item History and you'll have everything in there since we started tracking in late January 2006, except for the March-Mid May period where we ran normal looting for a while.
What about CT Raid Tracker?
This tool is actually only required by lootmasters and / or raid leaders.
