Trial Member

People joining ST Syndicate will normally start out as a Trial Member. This status is temporary, and the officers will look into making the status permanent as soon as convenient.
In order to become a full member, one or several class officers will strive to party with you or examine your performance in raids.

Criteriae

  • You are expected to have a good command of your class' role and abilities in a 5-man party at the least, and to understand that full raiding may impose limitations on your ability to chose builds and playstyle.
  • Your attitude during raiding should stay in line with our raid rules. This includes to accept that while your former guild may have tackled any particuliar encounter differently, the discussion of the merits of any such strats should absolutely be postponed to after the raid is over
  • Not following the rules on looting conflicts will result in us and you parting ways
  • If for any reason you have to leave after a raid is formed, you are expected to inform the raid leader ahead of time if possible at all, or an officer / raid leader as soon as you are able to return. We all understand that there are real life emergencies which take precendence over gaming, and some of those are private matters. Still, inform us of the general nature of the problem.
  • If on your first raid you start experiencing connection problems, please also do inform the raid leader.

Raiding / Looting

  • There are no restrictions in terms of earning or using DKP while you are on trial

While the above points may seem stringent, in practice we just need to get the feeling that we can play together well. As stressed elsewhere, ST Syndicate is a mix between a social guild and a raiding outfit. If you joined us for hardcore raiding or getting geared up as fast as possible, ST Syndicate cannot and will not fulfill those objectives.

Welcome to ST Syndicate.
