Raid Signup

Raid Signup subsite

The raid Signup page is located at: http://straid.treehuggers.info/

(Hint: set your bookmarks for all our sites to http://stsyndicate.treehuggers.info/ and thus ease up your life).

How to use it?

  1. Register on the site
  2. Log on
  3. Click on Profiles and create your raiding character (be sure to have your max resistances nearby)
  4. Go to the Main page, click on each raid you wish to attend
  5. Sign up
  6. You will get either signed up for the raid directly, if there are free slots for your class left, or be placed in the queue. If queued up, a Raid Leader will be able to boost you up manually.
  7. One hour before the set invite time for the raid, the signups close.

Please note that for flexibility, the class counts for a raid type are overprovisionned in the system, and don't necessarily have (yet) a direct bearing on what the raid will look like in practice.

Caveat: If you register using something else than the name of one of your guild characters, your account may get deleted on review. Send Gwaendar a PM on the forum with details ASAP.

Time Zone

The Time Zone is based on Server time, which is CET (or GMT+1) with Daylight Saving Time. When in doubt, check the Guild Time above the navigation menu, top left just below the ST Logo.

Cancellation

Please note that if you cancel a sign-up, you won't be able to enroll for the same raid again. Please talk to one of the Raid Leaders if you change your mind.

Raid Leaders

Raid Leaders should visit the STRaid Management page.

Why should you use it?

Two reasons:

  1. Obviously, not everyone will be able to attend every single raid. There's real life and such odd things happening. However, when too many people cannot attend at the same time, it's hard on those who are there and have to waste time idle hoping for more people to show up. If we ain't got enough sign-ups, we'll be able to cancel it and everyone can go about their business, be it BG, questing or doing another smaller instance
  2. Once usage picks up, NOT signing up may effectively void your chances of running, as priority will go to those who actually did make the effort.

There you go. If you have any issues creating an account, drop Gwaendar a Private Message on the forum.
