DKP
These are the DKP rules currently in force at ST Syndicate
Earning DKP
ST Syndicate uses a classical Plain DKP system. DKP are earned on official guild runs (that is, those you subscribe to using the Raid Subscription Site only.
The earning rule is as follows:
- Signing up to a raid which you attend on time 1 dkp (Called the Sign-Up Bonus)
- Being online and in the raid party at the moment it crosses the instance barrier- ZG/AQ20 2dkp MC 4 dkp (Called the Attendance Bonus)
- Killing bosses whilst on said raids (amount awarded varies)
- Being a warrior who is forced to pass on a T1 or tanking drop 1 dkp
DKP Penalties
The following situations generate DKP penalties:
- Leaving the guild in what seems an arbitrary, flippant or downright childish way: -50 dkp. The amount may be refunded in part, in full or not at all at officer's discretion if a change of heart occurs later on.
- Leaving a raid before it has finished without prior notice: - attendance bonus
- Any raid behaviour breaking guild rules in a significant way may lead to a fine to be determined.
DKP base prices
The following are the base prices for drops:
- Quest item: free (but may be subject to guild-wide attribution rules)
- Blues: 5 DKP
- Purples: 10 DKP in 20-man raids, 20DKP in 40-man raids
- BoP recipes and other special loot: will be distributed to official guild craftsmen first or offered up for bidding.
Bidding Process
The determination of who may bid is subject to the current Looting Priorities. Eligible players who wish to participate may bid DKP for a drop. Negative bidding is allowed, provided the bidder has at least one DKP.
- Items dropped will be linked to the raid in the order they will be bid upon. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. Please do not /w the lootmaster at this point of time. Once the loot has been linked on raid chat, players interested in one of the drops should stay around the lootmaster, the others may start moving towards the next trash mobs.
- Items costing 0 dkp will be rolled on by relevent classes, winner gets loot.
- Items will be offered up one by one for bidding. The minimum bid for these items will also be posted at this time. Bids should be whispered to the lootmaster. Please note that ANY PLAYER ASKING HOW MUCH DKP THEY HAVE AT THIS TIME WILL BE IGNORED. This information can be looked up on the DKP site at any time.
- The player with the highest amount of dkp will be offered the opportunity to bid the maximum amount of dkp for that item (double its base cost). If he chooses to make a maximum bid then he shall win the item outright with no further bids. This is referred to as BUYING OUT the item.
- If no buyout is made then the item shall be bid on until a player wins by one full dkp, thus purchasing the item for that amount.
- Repeat untill no bidding loot is left.
- Guild loot (legendary, tanking and other nonbidding loot) will be distributed as per guild rules.
- Bidding ends and the raid moves on to the next area. No complaints or discussions about loot are admissible at this time until the raid is over.
Bidding Caps, No-bids
To speed up the process, bids cap out at twice the base value. If two or more players are still vying for this amount, the player with the highest amount of DKP before the raid's official start time will win the bid. If two or more players have the same amount of DKP, they will roll for the drop. Items not bid on will be disenchanted and the reagents sent to the guild bank.
